The 咨询 Department works with students, 父母, and faculty to meet the social-emotional needs of St. 澳门金沙网站 students. The counselors assist students, 父母, and teachers in fostering the students’ 学术 success and achievement of long- term goals for education and 职业生涯s. Counselors will provide knowledgeable and professional assistance to students in course selection, 学术顾问, standardized testing, 职业咨询, and college planning.

The vision of the St. 澳门金沙网站 咨询 Program is that all students will develop the 学术, 职业生涯, and social skills needed to achieve professional goals and personal wellness. Students will successfully manage their lives as healthy, 负责任的, 富有同情心的, 有弹性的, and productive citizens who 尊重 themselves and others.
服务
St 澳门金沙网站's counseling program aims to support our students in their 学术, personal/social and 职业生涯/college development. Counselors provide services and support in all of three domains during all four years of high school:
学术: Counselors work with students to select an appropriate program of studies, establish and monitor 学术 goals and success; and develop skills for improved learning. Counselors also provide consultation and support to teachers and 父母.
个人/社会: Counselors work with students to acquire the knowledge and skills helpful for personal growth, healthy decision making and overall mental health. Counselors also provide crisis counseling to ensure student safety and work with 父母 and other professionals to best support students in need.
大学/职业: Beginning freshmen year, counselors work with students to develop and plan 职业生涯 and college goals; provide students with strategies to gain a wide variety of 职业生涯 information; and help with the college search and application process.
